Our School successfully convened the Preparatory Meeting for the Shaanxi Normal University MBA Bohai Rim Alumni Association.  2025/05/25

To consolidate the strength of MBA alumni, strengthen the communication and cooperation between the school and its alumni as well as among alumni themselves, and promote the further development of both the school and its alumni, our school recently held the Preparatory Meeting for the Shaanxi Normal University MBA Bohai Rim Alumni Association in Jinan, Shandong Province. The meeting was attended by Qiu Yuanhang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the school; Xu Guodong, Deputy Director of the MBA & MPAcc Center; Yang Bo, Associate Dean (on secondment); Yang Tao, Full-time Counselor for Graduate Students; along with several alumni and all members of the preparatory group.

 First, Qiu Yuanhang introduced to the attending alumni the development achievements of the university since its founding 80 years ago and of the school since its establishment 23 years ago, expressing gratitude to all alumni for their continued care and support for the school’s development. He then provided a detailed overview of the original intent, background, preliminary preparations, and recent progress regarding the establishment of the Bohai Rim Alumni Association. He expressed his hope that the establishment of the alumni association would create a broad platform for alumni, consolidate their reliable strength, highlight their outstanding achievements, and serve as a bridge for communication between alumni and their alma mater, thereby making positive contributions to promoting the spirit and enhancing the influence of the university. Yang Bo and Xu Guodong shared insights on the preparatory workflow and plans for the Bohai Rim Alumni Association, the Entrepreneur Management Forum, and the deepening integration of alumni mutual support and resources.

The principal members of the preparatory group for the alumni association in attendance shared their personal reflections and offered suggestions and recommendations for the future work of the alumni association. During the meeting, all members also engaged in in-depth discussions on the association’s constitution, proposed division of responsibilities, and related matters, laying the foundation for the future establishment of the Bohai Rim Alumni Association.
