Doctoral Program

PhD Program

The Doctoral Programs in Theoretical Economics and Business Administration are designed to cultivate high-level scholars and future leaders with deep theoretical foundations, rigorous research capabilities, and a global perspective. Both programs share a common structure and philosophy, emphasizing holistic learner development that integrates intellectual growth with professional ethics and social responsibility.

The curricula are anchored by a robust credit-based system, requiring a minimum of 24 credits. This framework includes a core of public compulsory courses, specialized compulsory courses, and electives. The programs are fundamentally research-intensive, employing a mentor-guided, problem-oriented approach. Key mandatory components ensure a structured and rigorous research journey, including Academic Exchange, a Literature Review and Thesis Proposal, Mid-term Assessments, and a practical Practicum.

While the core specializations differ—with Economics focusing on areas like Advanced Microeconomics and Econometrics, and Business Administration on Advanced Strategic Management and Organizational Theory—both programs offer a wide range of electives for specialized study. A defining feature of these programs is their forward-looking curriculum, strategically enhanced by the integration of Artificial Intelligence through a mandatory course in Machine Learning, and several elective courses in Digital Economy and AI innovation, Data Analytics and Decision Modeling, ensuring graduates are equipped with cutting-edge analytical tools.
