IBS Student Teams Achieve Outstanding Results in the 4th International Business Simulation and Case Competition of the Silk Road MPAcc Alliance
From June 8 to July 17, the 4th International Business Simulation and Case Competition of the Silk Road MPAcc Alliance was successfully held. The competition was organized by the Silk Road MPAcc Alliance, hosted by its Competition Committee and the School of Accounting, Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics, and co-organized by Cesim Finland. A total of 140 teams from universities including Shaanxi Normal University, Ningxia University, and Xinjiang University participated. After six weeks of intense competition, 13 teams advanced to the finals. Ultimately, the "Good Luck Team" guided by Professor Yao Yu and Professor Liu Zhenhua from IBS won the Grand Prize; the "Wangwang Team" guided by Professor Lei Hongzhen and the "Only One No Two Team" guided by Professor Li Shujuan won Third Prizes; and the "Dudu Gao" team guided by Professor Guo Yujing and the "Calm Response" team guided by Professor Lan Juanli won Excellence Awards. Additionally, our university received the sole Excellent Organization Award for this competition.
On the morning of July 17, the finals business presentation took place as scheduled. During the competition, the four members of IBS's "Good Luck Team" delivered an presentation. They not only provided a clear and logical analysis of the case but also responded calmly and confidently during the judges' questioning session. Their solid professional competence and outstanding on-the-spot performance earned unanimous recognition from the judging panel, demonstrating the positive spirit and exceptional comprehensive abilities of IBS students. Ultimately, the team won the sole Grand Prize of the competition.
This competition aimed to promote cooperation, communication, exchange, and resource sharing among MPAcc training institutions within the Silk Road Accounting Alliance, enhancing the quality of MPAcc talent cultivation. The competition provided a platform for faculty and students from Silk Road Accounting Alliance universities to integrate professional knowledge with social practice, improving MPAcc students' abilities to engage in enterprise practice, simulate management decisions, and solve practical business problems.
