IBS MBA Overseas Mobile Classroom Visits Prestigious UK Universities
From June 16 to 22, 2025, the International Business School's MBA Overseas Mobile Classroom was successfully held at renowned universities in the United Kingdom, including the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, and the University of Leicester. With the core objective of broadening international perspectives, this mobile classroom aimed to deepen students' understanding of business wisdom and practices within multicultural contexts, enhancing their professional competence and comprehensive capabilities.
The mobile classroom was meticulously designed around two core components—thematic lectures and cultural experiences—forming an integrated learning system where theory and culture intertwined. During the thematic lecture sessions, cutting-edge knowledge sparked students' intellectual curiosity. In the lecture on MBA Financial Technology and Sino-British Culture at Cambridge, the professor used case studies to elucidate the development of financial technology, systematically outlining its application pathways and potential challenges in business scenarios, helping students construct a comprehensive understanding of financial innovation. At the specialized lecture on decarbonized transport held at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge, the instructor focused on breakthrough directions in electric vehicles and battery technology, vividly demonstrating how sustainability concepts can be transformed into core competitiveness in business practice, providing students with a more concrete understanding of the future prospects of the green economy. Additionally, the overseas program included other lectures on topics such as leadership and healthcare innovation.
In the cultural experience segment, participating students stepped onto campuses steeped in centuries of humanistic memory. Sunlight streamed through stained glass windows adorned with Gothic carved, casting dappled shadows that whispered tales of medieval academic heritage. Turning to enter modern laboratories, the hum of smart equipment instantly transported students to the forefront of innovation, allowing them to personally feel the combination of classical and modern. Walking on moss-covered stone paths, fingers brushing against ivy-clad stone walls, the scent of ancient books in the library, philosophical discussions among students on the lawns—the very air was permeated with an atmosphere both rigorous and free. From the architectural code of history, every element served as a vivid cultural textbook, enabling participants to immersively understand the enduring cultural commitment and spiritual core of these top institutions spanning time.
Students participating in this overseas mobile classroom unanimously expressed that it was a highly rewarding learning journey, broadening their international horizons, exposing them to cutting-edge business knowledge, and providing a fresh understanding of business practices within diverse cultures.
As a significant initiative in advancing international education at IBS, the overseas mobile classroom not only provides students with a high-quality learning platform but also explores effective pathways for cultivating business talents with global competitiveness. The college will continue to optimize such programs, empowering more outstanding students to demonstrate their capabilities on the international stage.
