IBS Participates in the 11th International Conference of the International Association for Chinese Management Research
From June 11 to 15, 2025, the 11th International Conference of the International Association for Chinese Management Research (IACMR) was successfully held in the ancient capital of Xi'an. The conference was hosted by IACMR, organized by the School of Management at Northwestern Polytechnical University, and co-organized by the International Business School. Under the theme "Empowering Sustainable Growth in the Digital Era," the conference brought together numerous management scholars and industry professionals from around the world to explore innovations in management theory and practice amidst the digital technology revolution.
During the opening ceremony on the morning of June 12, Professor Wei Shen, IACMR Co-Chair and representative of the IACMR 2025 organizing team, expressed sincere gratitude to all participants and wished everyone fruitful exchanges during the conference. Professor Lei Hongzhen, Dean of IBS, was among the distinguished guests invited to attend the opening ceremony.
The conference featured 9 keynote speeches, 22 thematic symposia, 26 professional development workshops, 70 roundtable discussions, and 119 paper presentations. The topics were closely aligned with cutting-edge developments, covering hot areas such as artificial intelligence innovation, organizational leadership, entrepreneurial ecosystems, and ESG and green strategies, fully demonstrating the growing global influence of Chinese management research. The conference garnered attention and coverage from several mainstream media outlets, including Xinhua News Agency and People's Daily.
As a co-organizer, IBS's deep involvement reflected the college's proactive stance in engaging with the frontiers of management disciplines, actively participating in high-level academic gatherings, and striving to enhance the development level of management studies.
