Basic Information

Personal Introduction

Wang Qinmei, a native of Gulang, Gansu Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China and holds a Ph.D. in Economics. She currently serves as a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in the Department of Economics at the International Business School of Shaanxi Normal University, and is an Executive Director of the Shaanxi Provincial Das Kapital Research Association. She has long been engaged in the teaching and research of economics, with primary research interests in development economics and the economic development of Western China, resources and environment and sustainable development in Western China, as well as transition economics and the transformational development of China's economy. She has published over 90 academic papers in journals such as Comparative Economic & Social Systems, Thinking, Economic Survey, East China Economic Management, Soft Science, International Economics and Trade Research, Journal of Shaanxi Normal University, Tourism Tribune, and Theoretical Front. Several of her papers have been fully reproduced by the Renmin University Copy Materials or excerpted in Xinhua Digest and the Journal of Peking University. She has published two personal monographs and contributed to eight other books. Additionally, she has edited or co-edited two textbooks and participated in compiling seven others. She has presided over seven provincial. ministerial-level projects, including those funded by the National Social Science Fund, the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Fund, the National Sports Administration Philosophy and Social Sciences Fund, and the Shaanxi Provincial Social Science Fund, and has participated in eight others. Research outcomes completed independently or collaboratively have received multiple awards. The Macroeconomics course she teaches is recognized as a Provincial-level Quality Resource Sharing Course in Shaanxi.
