Personal Introduction

Wang Meng is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor in the Department of Economics at Shaanxi Normal University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Nanjing University. His research focuses on development economics, political economy, and economic history, with recent interests centering on skyscrapers, television-based governance inquiries, and the cross-city layout of universities. He has published over 20 papers as first author in CSSCI-indexed journals such as Finance & Trade Economics, Economic Theory and Business Management, Science Research Management, and Management Review. He has authored two academic monographs and has presided over one general project of the National Social Science Fund and four provincial. ministerial-level research projects. He has received the First Prize in the China Real Estate Academic Seminar (2013) and the National Outstanding Postdoctoral Academic Achievement Award (2022). He also serves as an anonymous reviewer for several academic journals.
