Personal Introduction

Liu Jie, Ph.D. in Sustainable Development Economics, is a consulting expert for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) technical assistance projects; he has led or participated in over 10 national, provincial, and international cooperation research projects. The research achievements he has contributed to have received the first-class award of the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Excellent Achievements of Shaanxi Universities, the second-class award of Xi'an Science and Technology Progress, the third-class award of Xi'an Science and Technology Awards, and the first-class award of Xi'an Natural Science Outstanding Academic Papers; he is the main lecturer for courses such as Econometrics, Development Economics, and Mathematical Economics, and has won the first-class award of the Fourth (2018) Young Teachers' Teaching Competition of Shaanxi Higher Education Institutions and the first-class award of the Tenth (2017) School-level Young Teachers' Teaching Basic Skills Competition of Shaanxi Normal University; as the first author or corresponding author, his research results have been published in core journals such as Advances in Climate Change Research, Energies, China Population, Resources and Environment, Climate Change Research Progress, Ecological Civilization Research, Journal of Shaanxi Normal University (Philosophy and Social Sciences Edition), and Journal of Natural Disasters.
