Mr. Veijo Kyösti, President of Finland's Cesim, Delivers Special Lecture on "AI-Empowered Business Simulation" at IBS

On the morning of March 25, 2025, to explore the application of artificial intelligence in business decision-making, the First-Class Discipline and Program Construction Office, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Teaching and Research Section, the Ideabase Innovation and Entrepreneurship Platform, and the Behavioral Economics and Management Intelligent Systems Laboratory at the International Business School, Shaanxi Normal University, jointly hosted a special entrepreneur lecture titled "AI-Empowered Business Simulation: The Future Path of Business Education from the Cesim Perspective" in Room 1101, Wenlan Building. The lecture featured Mr. Veijo Kyösti, President and Managing Partner of Cesim, a globally renowned expert in the field of business simulation, who delivered a cutting-edge presentation on the deep integration of AI technology and business education.

Mr. Veijo Kyösti began by skillfully using a vivid diagram to illustrate that AI's creativity is rising at an observable pace. In stark contrast, human creativity appears to be gradually declining, like sailing against the current. This phenomenon profoundly reflects the shifting balance between artificial intelligence and human creativity in an era of rapid technological advancement, prompting deep reflection on the future of human development and creativity cultivation. It also serves as a reminder that while embracing AI technology, we must place greater emphasis on stimulating and enhancing our own creativity.

Subsequently, drawing on his extensive experience in the field of business simulation, Mr. Kyösti explored how AI technology can empower business education and drive innovation in future learning pathways. From the perspective of Cesim, he shared case studies of AI applications in Cesim business simulations and discussed how simulation-based teaching can enhance students' practical abilities and decision-making skills. He also provided an in-depth analysis of the development trends of AI technology in global business education, offering forward-looking educational solutions for universities and enterprises.

This entrepreneur lecture provided a platform for faculty and students to exchange ideas with a top international expert, promoting the deep integration of business education and AI technology. The college will continue to focus on the application and development of artificial intelligence in the business field, supporting the cultivation of business talents with a global perspective and innovative capabilities.
