Our School Successfully Conducted the “Using Skills as Oars to Navigate the Path of Career Hope” Employment Skills Training Lecture.

To enhance the employment competitiveness of the Class of 2025 and assist students in successfully transitioning to the workforce, our school recently held the first employment skills training lecture themed “Using Skills as Oars to Navigate the Path of Career Hope” for graduate and undergraduate students of the Class of 2025 in the Lecture Hall on the second floor of Section C, Wenhui Building. Career planners and consultants Liu Yongxia and Zhang Huiqin, along with graduate counselor Yang Tao, attended the event. All graduating students of the Class of 2025 participated in the training.

At the beginning of the lecture, Zhang Huiqin guided students to identify their career interests through the Holland Career Interest Islands game, enabling them to scientifically set their job-seeking goals. Subsequently, she delivered an in-depth presentation on resume design, addressing key questions such as “What does a resume look like in the eyes of HR?”, “What do they pay more attention to?”, and “How can one stand out in a resume?” She also shared numerous practical tips to help students better present themselves during the job search process. Meanwhile, Liu Yongxia provided a detailed analysis of the current employment market situation, examined common issues prevalent in the resumes submitted by students, and offered targeted recommendations.

Finally, Liu Yongxia provided constructive advice and encouragement from several key perspectives and offered one-on-one resume guidance and revision for some students present, creating a lively atmosphere at the event.
