From March 25 to 26, under the organization of the United Front Work Department of the Hancheng Municipal Committee and the University Career Guidance Service Center, the counselors of the graduating class of 2023 from our school, along with some graduating students, traveled to Hancheng to participate in the “Private Enterprises and Universities Joining Hands to Promote Employment” event.

Led by the event staff, the faculty and students from our school visited six organizations, including Hancheng Zhenzhou School, Shaanxi Weikang Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Huanghe Mining (Group) Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Hongma Technology Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Youfa Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., and Shaanxi Haiyan New Energy (Group) Co., Ltd. Through corporate promotional videos, on-site visits, and interactive exchanges, they gained a comprehensive understanding of the corporate culture, development prospects, job openings, compensation and benefits, and talent needs of these organizations. On the afternoon of March 26, the graduating students of the Class of 2023 participated in the “Employment in Hancheng, Opportunities Await You” job fair. The Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau provided students with a detailed introduction to Hancheng’s development status, industrial layout, and talent cultivation and introduction policies. Students submitted their resumes to over ten key enterprises, engaged in face-to-face discussions regarding employer needs, and reached preliminary agreements on the next stages of interview arrangements.

This event, organized by the United Front Work Department of the Hancheng Municipal Committee in collaboration with relevant universities, effectively contributed to deepening university-enterprise cooperation and establishing a communication bridge between employers and graduating students. The students who participated in the event expressed that they greatly benefited from the experience. First, they gained a deeper understanding of Hancheng’s development status, industrial layout, talent cultivation and introduction policies, and the recruitment needs of key enterprises, which broadened their knowledge and expanded their perspectives. Second, they felt greatly encouraged, stating that in their future academic and personal lives, they will actively seize employment opportunities, continue to strengthen their learning, enhance their overall competencies, and make proactive preparations and efforts to realize their “employment dreams.”
