IBS Student Team Wins First Prize in the 2nd International Business Simulation and Case Competition of the Silk Road MPAcc Alliance
From June 30 to July 2, the 2nd International Business Simulation and Case Competition of the Silk Road MPAcc Alliance was successfully held in Yinchuan, Ningxia. The competition was organized by the Silk Road MPAcc Alliance, hosted by its Competition Committee and the School of Economics and Management, Ningxia University, and co-organized by Cesim Finland. A total of 123 teams from universities including Xi'an Jiaotong University, Shaanxi Normal University, and Xi'an University of Finance and Economics participated. After three weeks of intense competition, 18 teams advanced to represent their universities in the offline finals.
On the morning of July 1, the IBS student team—"The Pioneers," consisting of Pan Chong, Zhang Jiyu, Han Yuru, and Zhao Chenyao, under the guidance of Professor Yao Yu from the Department of Economics and Professor Guo Yujing from the Department of Finance and Accounting—delivered their presentation during the offline group competition at Ningxia University. During the competition, the team members clearly and logically presented their project, calmly and confidently responded to the judges' questions, and demonstrated the outstanding professionalism and excellence of IBS students, ultimately winning the First Prize.
This competition was held in line with China's strategic arrangement for the Belt and Road Initiative, embodying the Silk Road spirit. It aims to further promote the application, dissemination, and resource sharing of achievements related to MPAcc education, fostering the rapid and healthy development of MPAcc training in regions along the Silk Road. The competition also provides a platform for university faculty and students to integrate professional knowledge with social practice, offering a space for free creation and independent operation. Through this competition, students trained their business acumen, integrated theory with practice, enhanced their teamwork skills, and continuously strengthened their core professional competitiveness.
